Vision Shared’s Building Bridges and Empowering Citizens Steering Committee supports Generation WV, a statewide consortium of young talent organizations that has held two successful young leadership conferences. Generation West Virginia and Vision Shared also partner with Gov. Joe Manchin through his new Governor’s Council of Young Professionals.

The Building Bridges and Empowering Citizens Steering Committee is led by Becky Ceperley, chairman of the Vision Shared Board of Directors and president of The Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation in Charleston.

Teams:
- Non-profit Capacity Building: This team focuses on encouraging more collaboration between organizations in West Virginia's non-profit sector. Volunteers currently are documenting an inventory of the existing non-profits throughout the state and creating a database with each non-profit's focus, funding, service area, population served and other pertinent information. This team is led by Chairman Judy Sjostedt, executive director of the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation.
- Generation West Virginia, a partner organization to Vision Shared, GWV is a statewide consortium of young talent organizations representing West Virginians ages 21 to 45. Vision Shared provides administrative support and financial management for the organization.
